PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FEMALE CAMPERS FOR OUR JUNE SESSION. Dear Prospective Camper(s) and Family, Thank you for your interest in Camp Erin - LA! Below you will find an application that includes questions regarding bereavement history, medical information, and general interest forms. Camp Erin will be held twice: June 23-25 and August 18-20 at Camp Bloomfield in Malibu, CA. While we provide bus transportation to the camp site, please note that parents/guardians are responsible for making their own arrangements for transportation of their camper on the final day of camp. While at camp, your child will stay with other campers who are close in age and of the same gender. Bereavement Specialists, as well as specially trained volunteers will lead the grief activities and supervise recreation. A registered nurse will be available on site at all times. Acceptance to the camp will be based on several criteria. Because we want to ensure the best possible experience fore very Camp Erin participant, each application will be reviewed in detail and will include an interview before the application process is complete. Prospective campers must have experienced the death of someone close within the past 3 years since the camp session date. Bereavement Specialists will screen campers' applications to determine their appropriateness for this specialized camp prior to final registration.
