Elementary, Middle, and
High School Program


OUR HOUSE recognizes that many of our community's most vulnerable youth who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are not able to attend support groups at our West Los Angeles or Woodland Hills locations. Through our School Based Program we are able to bring our services to them.

OUR HOUSE offers on-site grief support groups for elementary, middle, and high school students. Students are identified by school personnel and are invited to participate. The School Program is offered at no cost to the schools or student participants.

School Groups

  • consist of 8-12 students
  • occur once a week for 8-10 weeks
  • are led by highly trained and compassionate OUR HOUSE volunteers
  • take place on campuses in the Los Angeles, Culver City, Santa Monica/Malibu, Inglewood, and Hawthorne Unified School Districts
  • are shown to improve the academic performance and social adjustment of student participants
