OUR HOUSE was founded in 1993 by Jo-Ann Lautman. Ms. Lautman has been a grief specialist in the Los Angeles area since 1980.

OUR HOUSE was the culmination of her dream for an independent, nonsectarian place where children and adults could come to seek comfort and support when the death of a spouse, a parent, a sibling, or a child rocks the foundation of their home.
