Grieving Children and Teens spend more of their waking hours in schools than elsewhere. Adults at home are often unavailable to support their children because of their own grief or secondary losses. That’s why it is imperative for personnel in schools to understand the needs of grieving children so that they can get the support they need to be successful during the school day and beyond. OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center Clinical staff are available to provide training for teachers, administrators and counselors at your school site so that you can help children adapt to life without the deceased and perform at their optimal level academically and socially.
