Our grief workshop and intensive training course provides a theoretical and practical approach to grief support to implement in work with grieving children, adolescents, and adults. Those who complete this training will have the opportunity to enhance and practice intervention skills and to reflect upon their own comfort with and understanding of death and bereavement. The thorough review of grief theories, relevant case examples, practical knowledge of interventions with both individuals and groups, and different views of the healing and meaning-making process, allow participants to take a multi-dimensional approach to learning how to be a competent and effective practitioner in grief care.

Join us next summer at Camp Erin LA, a free day camp experience for children, teens, and their parents/guardians who are grieving the death of someone close. Camp Erin combines traditional camp experiences with grief support activities to provide an unforgettable day of hope, healing, and summer fun. We are offering two separate day-long sessions on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25.
For many kids and teens, Camp Erin is the first time they’re able to discuss their grief without shame or stigma. It’s an opportunity for their grief to be seen, supported, and honored in a safe and uplifting space. If you’re interested in applying to be a camper or a volunteer, please click the link below!
