2023Walk 'n' Run for Hope

Sunday, April 30th, 2023

Thank your for helping us celebrate our 30th Anniversary with this year’s Walk ‘n’ Run for Hope! The mission of OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center is to provide grief support services, education, resources and hope to the Los Angeles community. Every dollar raised goes towards providing essential grief support services to children, teens and adults.

Highlights & Photos

After four years, our community came together in the beautiful new location of Woodley Park to support one another by sharing grief and finding hope. Over 1200 people enjoyed the songs of Andy Grammer, walked Lake Balboa and made it possible to have free and low-cost grief support services to those in need.

If you missed Andy Grammer’s performance, check out this video of his hit, “These Tears”, a tribute to his mother who died of cancer.

If you are looking for a way to commemorate your loved one, here is a list of suggestions:

Review the grief page Why We Remember for ideas.

Virtual Community Week of Wellness provides a different activity each day that helps us find meaning in our grief through the help of grief specialists and experts in their individual fields.

Celebrate the life of a family member or friend by creating a webpage about them on our Memorial Wall. You can establish a permanent memorial and invite others to add to the memorial with photos, stories, and more. You can light a virtual candle or donate in memory of those who have died. We welcome your participation and hope you find this to be a meaningful way to remember your person as you move forward on your journey from grief towards hope and healing.
