Lynn was taken much too young, succumbing to ovarian cancer at the age of 51. She was so smart and funny and an adoring mother, daughter and the very best friend anyone could want. I met Lynn at our kids’ pre-school and we became very fast friends. She was the person who set me on my career path through her volunteerism with the Jewish Federation (pictured here on Super Sunday 1988). Our kids grew up together and enjoyed each other as much as Lynn and I enjoyed each other’s company. Her diagnosis was devastating to all who knew and loved her, but she battled bravely through chemo for another two years. Lynn comes to me in dreams and I feel her presence every day.
